Ornamental chile peppers can be used to simply add heat to any culinary dish.
Growing chile peppers indoors is a great project for those who do not have garden space or a yard. Ornamental chile peppers can be grown in any type of growing container, even in hanging baskets. They require bright sunshine and a little humidity. Chile plants that are grown in pots do not like to sit in water or have the soil surrounding their roots saturated, however letting the soil dry completely will kill a large portion of the roots and may cause death to the plant. Fertilize with a balanced fertilizer.
